Feminist Movement movements are those that advocate and fight tirelessly for the rights and freedoms of the women and girls. Goals of Feminist Movements

The goals of these feminist movements have to do with respect for women and the empowerment of the women in the society. Respect for children rights is also a core component of the things women movements advocate for. Women are known for the courage they have in matters that concern their welfare. The main aim of the formation of feminist movements in the society is to make changes occur and these changes are key in changing the lives of the women. Real change is what these movements are for. Since women were not allowed equal chances in education, it was these movements that advocated for the girl child education. Women empowerment is also emphasized by these movements. Another key goal is allowing the women in any or every society to have or take control for their lives. This means that women can work independently and think for themselves. Sexual violence against the women and children was not supposes to be part of any society. Women freedom was another key goal of feminist movement. One among the most important goals was the equal opportunities for women as there are for men.

Effects of Feminist Movements

Women are today allowed the same and equal opportunities in work places and allowed equal pay as men. Male dominance has reduced and children rights respected. Laws have been enacted and enforced against abuse of women.
